The Meaning
"Tell great stories." It does not mean telling the wildest adventures about the most unconventional people. Instead, to look closer at every individual's relationships, environments, and goals and see the parts of their story that make them truly special. Chances are, whether you realize it or not, you have a great story, and we want to help you tell it the best way possible.
Cut through the distractions and fluff and get to what matters most. The people! It's our mission always to treat your brand, business, company, and relationship with the care and importance it deserves. So the world can know you better!
"Celebrate your roots." If you're a multi-million dollar startup from Silicon Valley or a small production house in Freeport, Illinois, chances are where you're from helped shape you and your business. For better or worse, the things of our past shape who we are today and inform how we move forward. They don't define us, but they do help to shape us. We know this can be powerful, and that's why it inspires everything we do!
Getting to the roots of video production often looks like research and conversations. These things feel less like lights or camera action! But they're the crucial foundation for ensuring your video isn't just okay but great! And that is why we focus on it and why we've made it part of our mantra!

Hey, it’s me, Will. 815 natives was started for two reasons. Because we deeply believe in telling great stories and celebrating your roots. We are all natives from somewhere with a great story; the trick is knowing how to say it.
We’re based out of Freeport, IL, and the area code in our region is 815! I suppose every city and region tries to make something special from their area code, but we feel there’s something different about those three little numbers for us!
One thing is for sure. Our small area code has a lot of business talent, and so far, we've had the privilege of working with only a fraction of our Freeport natives. But we're excited to grow and, most importantly, help other businesses and brands grow along the way!

That's right if you didn't already know Freeport, Illinois is Pretzel City USA! And yes we do wear this as a badge of honor! Our humble community might not look like much on paper but if you know where to look there's inspiration and positivity all around. Community and people are at the heart of what we do and we believe it's what makes us great at not simply making videos, but rather telling stories!
